Questions about height and weight scales
What is a stadiometer used for?
A stadiometer measures standing height. It mounts on a wall, like the Befour HTR101, or is built into a scale as a height rod, as on the MX805 and MX905 stations. The HTR101 measures up to 91 in (230 cm) and does not weigh.
How to measure height and weight on a scale?
On a Befour station, the patient stands on the platform for the weight. On the digital rods (MX805, MX807, MX808, MX810), press HEIGHT and raise the headpiece; on the Opti-Height rods (MX905, MX908, MX910), lower the headpiece onto the head, then press HEIGHT. The height appears next to the weight, and the console calculates BMI.
