How is height measured on the MX805?
Press HEIGHT and raise the foldable headpiece. The height appears automatically, in inches, feet and inches, or centimetres. The rod rotates 360° so the headpiece is easier to position, and no cable is exposed. Befour lists an accuracy of ± 0.1 in (0.2 cm).
How much space does the MX805 take, and how high is the platform?
The cast platform measures 16 × 18 in (40.6 × 45.7 cm) and stands 1¾ in (4.4 cm) high. The scale is 42 in (106.7 cm) tall and weighs 17 lb (7.7 kg), in non-corroding aluminum. Allow 1 in (2.5 cm) of space around it, as it should not touch the wall. It runs on 4 D-cell batteries and needs no outlet.
