What scales do doctors use?
Doctor offices use stand-on scales, such as column scales and exam room scales, some with a height rod. The Befour MX305 is a column scale with its display on a 42 in (106.7 cm) column. The MX377, MX877 and MX977 are exam room scales with an active handrail; the MX877 and MX977 add a height rod.
What is a physician beam scale?
A mechanical column scale, read by sliding weights along a beam until it balances. The Befour physician scales we carry are digital: the weight appears on an LCD display, read to 0.1 lb (0.05 kg).
