A shower trolley built for bariatric care

The patient area measures 1,980 × 780 mm (78 × 30.7 in), on a trolley 915 mm (36 in) wide. The head-end rail folds for extra length.

Two lifting columns move the stretcher from 535 to 835 mm (21.1 to 32.9 in). The hand control also tilts it, and a tone sounds when it is level again.

For a patient who cannot be moved to a trolley, the Wishower brings the shower to the bed.
Features of this shower trolley
Two lifting columns
The stretcher rises and lowers on two columns, at about 8 mm per second, from a hand control.
Electric tilt
Tilt the stretcher either way for comfort, drainage or a Trendelenburg position. A short tone sounds when it is level.
Onboard or removable battery
Choose a 24 V, 7 Ah onboard battery or a removable 24 V, 4 Ah Li-ion battery. Both versions come with a MagCode charger.
Central brake and straight steering
One foot bar locks all four 150 mm castors, or sets straight steering to make the trolley easier to steer.

Questions about the TR 4000
How do wheelchair users take a shower?
In a care facility, a person who cannot stand can shower seated on a shower chair, or lying down on a shower trolley. On the TR 4000, the patient is moved onto the stretcher with a patient lift, then showered lying down over a floor drain, with the side rails locked. When no transfer is possible, the Wishower brings the shower to the bed.
What makes the TR 4000 a bariatric shower trolley?
TR Equipment rates it for a working load of 450 kg (992 lb), patient and water included. The patient area is 1,980 × 780 mm (78 × 30.7 in), the stretcher rests on two lifting columns, and the trolley rolls on four 150 mm (5.9 in) castors with a central brake.
How is the TR 4000 raised, lowered and tilted?
All from the hand control. The stretcher moves from 535 to 835 mm (21.1 to 32.9 in) at about 8 mm per second, and tilts in both directions for comfort, drainage or a Trendelenburg position. A short tone sounds when the stretcher is level again; another tone warns when the battery needs charging.
Is the TR 4000 mattress removable for cleaning?
Yes. The mattress and pillow are flame-retardant PVC and come off for a thorough cleaning. TR Equipment asks that the trolley be cleaned and wiped dry after every use, including under the stretcher, and that the drain plug be put back before transport.
How much does the TR 4000 shower trolley cost?
The price depends on the battery version (onboard or removable), the options and the quantity. Request a quote and a representative replies within two business days.
