TruAir Endoscope Drying Cabinet
A forced-air drying cabinet for flexible endoscopes, for endoscopy suites, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centres and operating rooms. HEPA-filtered air flows through each scope channel while the scopes hang in the cabinet. Capsa states that the cabinet is designed to follow the ST91 guidelines.

Air through every channel
Each scope connects to the air manifold by a quick disconnect. On integrated pump models, air reaches each scope at 6 L/min minimum, at no more than 4 psi (27.6 kPa).
DRY models have their own air pump with a HEPA filter. HA models connect to your hospital air; that integration is sold separately.
A padded lower back wall protects the distal tips, and a removable drip tray sits at the bottom of the cabinet.
Powder-coated metal in bright white, or stainless steel. Capsa rates the integrated pump model at 45 dB.

Reusable drying connectors
Reusable connectors, auxiliary water connectors included, link each scope to the air supply. They are sold separately.
Rotating scope hooks
Scopes hang from rotating hooks at the front of the cabinet, with a centre separator scope rack below.
Keyed or keyless locking
Locking hinged glass doors with a keyed lock; a keyless lock is an option. On HA models, the locking glass doors are an option.
Lighting and readings (options)
Door-activated LED lighting and a temperature and humidity gauge can be added to the cabinet.
Ready for the Scope Tracker
The TruAir Scope Tracker tablet mounts on the drying cabinet to follow drying time and hang time. It is sold separately.

How should endoscopes be dried?
Follow the endoscope manufacturer’s instructions for use and your facility’s reprocessing protocol. In the TruAir drying cabinet, each scope connects to an air manifold and HEPA-filtered air flows through its channels: at least 6 L/min per scope, at no more than 4 psi (27.6 kPa), on integrated pump models. The cabinet itself stays at positive pressure.
What are the standards for drying endoscopes in a drying cabinet?
Your facility chooses the guidelines it follows. Capsa states that the TruAir drying cabinet is designed to follow the ST91 guidelines and that it complies with The Joint Commission, AORN and SGNA standards and guidelines. LIOMAR does not certify compliance: your infection prevention team confirms what applies in your facility.
Does an endoscope drying cabinet need an air compressor?
Not the TruAir with an integrated pump. DRY models have their own air pump with a HEPA filter and plug into a 120 V wall outlet. HA models use your hospital air supply instead; the hospital air integration is sold separately.
How much does a TruAir drying cabinet cost?
