The Trio frame, without the battery
For light-duty care
Capsa designs the Trio NP for light-duty applications: medical and surgical units, emergency, outpatient areas, operating rooms, intensive care and patient registration.
Plugged in, without a battery
A power cord with several sockets feeds your computer and monitor while the cart is plugged into the wall.
The same heights as the Trio
Capsa lists the same footprint, work surface and height ranges as the powered Trio, with a manual lift.
Features of this workstation
Manual lift
Lift the lever to free the work surface, release it to lock the height. The lift tension is balanced to the weight of your equipment.
Handles at the right height
Two contoured front handles move with the work surface, and the rear handle adjusts up or down on a T-track.
Monitor and keyboard set apart
A choice of adjustable monitor mounts, a pull-out keyboard tray with an adjustable angle, and a keyboard light powered from a USB port.
Storage that locks with a key
Standard bins or MaxBin full-width drawers on soft-close slides, key-locking or non-locking, up to 2 tiers.
Accessories for each task
Wire baskets, waste bin, scanner holder, tablet mount, wipe and sharps brackets, access pack (options).

Questions about the Trio NP
Can drawers be added to the Trio NP?
Yes. Capsa offers the Trio NP with standard bins in grey or blue, in 2-tier configurations, or with the MaxBin system of full-width drawers on soft-close slides, up to 2 tiers. Both come key-locking or non-locking, and standard bins can be mixed. Some storage configurations need an expanded base. Tell us what the cart will carry and we propose the configuration.
Does the Trio NP have a battery?
No. The Trio NP has a power cord with several sockets for your computer, monitor and other devices, and it supplies power only while the cart is plugged into the wall. Capsa asks users to shut down their devices before unplugging the cart (guide 810498). For battery power away from the outlet, look at the Trio.
How is the work surface height adjusted on the Trio NP?
By hand. Lift the lever to free the work surface, from 33.5 to 49.5 in (85 to 125.7 cm), and release it to lock the height. The cart ships with just enough lift tension for an empty cart: once your equipment is installed, the tension is set with a 17 mm (11/16 in) wrench until raising and lowering take the same effort (guide 810498).
Where can I get Capsa parts, such as a Trio chassis?
Contact our team. Send us the cart model, its serial number and a photo of the part: we forward your request to Capsa Healthcare and follow it until it is resolved.
How much does the Trio NP cost?
The price depends on the storage, the monitor mount, the accessories and the number of workstations. Request a quote and a representative replies within two business days. The computer and monitor are not included, and the lead time is confirmed with your quote.
