How much does the MX115 weigh, and how is it carried?
The MX115 scale weighs 12 lb (5.4 kg), on a 13 × 13 in (33 × 33 cm) platform. Befour offers two optional carry cases: a soft-sided case (SC1816) that holds the platform, the display console and the cables, and a lockable hard-shell case (HC-1825) with a foam interior. Does the MX115 need an outlet or a rechargeable battery?
No. The MX115 runs on 4 D-cell alkaline batteries, included with the scale. Befour’s ECO Weigh system gives about 100,000 weighings per set, and a 3-segment indicator shows the battery level. Befour states that no AC outlet or recharging is needed, so the scale can be used anywhere.
Can the MX115 display kilograms only?
Yes. The console has an LB/KG lockout: you can switch between pounds and kilograms, or set the scale to display only the unit your facility uses. This setting is part of the programmable user settings, along with auto-off and hands-free weighing.
Does the MX115 calculate BMI?
