Which disinfectants can be used on the Avalo Anesthesia Cart?
Capsa lists soap and water, diluted isopropyl alcohol, diluted bleach, hydrogen peroxide and quaternary ammonium products as acceptable, applied with a soft cloth or wipe. Avoid undiluted bleach, acetone, solvents, baking soda and abrasive cleaners, and do not immerse the cart. Test a new product on a hidden area first; your infection control team sets the procedure (Capsa care and cleaning sheet).
