Built for multi-dose cards
Capsa builds its multi-dose carts for large-format, one-week multi-dose blister packaging, with deep drawers (12 and 13 in high) and dividers that organize large cards.
A key lock as standard, or a 4-digit code. AutoLock relocks a cart left still after 1 to 99 minutes.
Laptop arms and trays mount on the cart, with lockable options, so the record follows the medication pass.
Components can be replaced and the high-density panels can be refurbished.

The Avalo AVDPL is one of three Capsa models built for large-format, one-week multi-dose blister packaging. Capsa multi-dose carts have deep drawers, 12 and 13 in (30.5 and 33 cm) high, with dividers that organize large cards (brochure C-489). The AVDPL is 38 in (96.5 cm) wide, 24 in (61 cm) deep and 43.75 in (111.1 cm) high. We confirm the drawer layout with you and your pharmacy.
Is an electronic lock available on the Avalo Multi-Dose cart?
Yes, as an upgrade. The standard lock is a key lock with manual relocking. Keyless access opens the cart with a 4-digit code. AutoLock relocks a cart left still after 1 to 99 minutes, can add a proximity card reader as a second access requirement, and can track over 2,000 events, such as user access and relocking (brochure C-489).
Which accessories can be added to the Avalo Multi-Dose cart?
Capsa lists Avalo accessories such as the Drawer Flex System, drawer dividers, an organizer tray, a corner organizer, a sharps container, a waste bin with lid, a glove box, drawer ID labels, a double-wide narcotic box and a laptop arm and tray (brochure C-489). How do you clean the Avalo Multi-Dose cart between medication passes?
Follow your infection control protocol, with a soft cloth or a disinfectant wipe. Do not immerse the cart or let liquid run inside, and do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners. Test a new product on a hidden area first. On an AutoLock cart, unplug the power cord before cleaning. The Capsa care and cleaning sheet in the Documents section lists the acceptable products.
