How do I calibrate my scale?
The Befour product sheet for the MX306 does not describe a calibration procedure. Follow your facility’s maintenance program and the manufacturer’s instructions. LIOMAR does not calibrate scales: ask us and we will put you in touch with Befour.
How is the MX306 moved to another room?
The MX306 uses Befour’s Tilt & Roll design. The scale stays still during weighing; to move it, tilt it back on its 3 in (7.6 cm) wheels and roll it away. It fits through standard doorways. The scale weighs 31 lb (14.1 kg) and runs on batteries, so no outlet is needed at the new location.
Can patients hold the MX306 handgrip while they are weighed?
Yes. The MX306 has an integrated “active” handrail: the patient can grasp it for support while the weight is calculated. Befour describes the handgrip as compact and heavy-duty, designed to give support without taking up floor space. MotionLock settles the weight even when the person moves, with no intervention from the caregiver.
How much floor space does the MX306 need?
The MX306 platform measures 16 × 18 in (40.6 × 45.7 cm) and stands 1¾ in (4.4 cm) high; the scale is 42 in (106.7 cm) tall. Befour asks for 1 in (2.5 cm) of space around the scale: it should not touch the wall. Its compact handgrip is designed to take up minimal floor space.
